Houston Faith Church began in Sept. 2002, when Chas & Joni followed the leading of God and knew that it was time to begin a great gospel work in Houston.  With no church members, but only a dream and a vision, they sent word out to a few people that might need a home church.  They attempted to begin meeting in their house, or in a school, or a daycare, but it seemed that the only place that felt right was an office building suite.  They custom designed a 4200 ft2 church from an empty warehouse space and had it built within 30 days.  The building was equipped with classrooms for the teens, children, and nursery, as well as ample office space to begin and a 100+ seat sanctuary with a balcony.  8 (eight) committed, faithful, bold believers pioneered the Houston Faith congregation, and many more courageous souls have joined the vision since then . . .

Houston Faith Church has grown into a dynamic, thriving assembly of believers who are hungry for God, dedicated to the kingdom of God, and serving the Lord in truth.  Since the beginning, neither the vision nor the ministry at Houston Faith Church has ever changed.  It was established on the Word of God with sincere, literal Bible teaching and preaching that feeds the soul and builds people's faith enough to experience Jesus Christ and walk closely with God.  And it continues as such.  We have always been determined to allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us....from church decisions to church services.  And because of that, we get to see His love, His power, and His goodness.  Here at HFC, it's all about people.  It's all about the next person meeting Jesus and walking with God, full of the Holy Spirit.  And that means it's all about you.

HFC is about to look to purchasing land and building again, as we are growing steadily each month.  But no matter the size, the presence of God and is keeping us unified as a loving, full-of-joy group of saints who are committed to the Lord Jesus Christ.  Houston Faith Church is a safe place.  And we are enjoying the ride!
We found our future property!  We have not yet purchased it, but we know God has reserved and prepared this certain 12-17 acres just for our Houston Faith Church campus: church, bible school, youth center, and more.

    What kind of church are we?  I would say…a really great one and a unique one (technically, a non-denominational, Spirit-filled, word of faith church in West - NorthWest Houston) – one that is built, on the uncompromised Word of God, and by the Spirit of God – a real New Testament Bible Church that  emphasizes spreading the truth of Jesus Christ, the love of God, Faith toward God, the Holy Spirit baptism, and the power of God for miracles, healings, and freedom from all evil.  And a place where people can really experience God, and find hope for both life on earth, and eternal life through Christ.

    While some churches promote how casual or laid back they are, we like to emphasize how serious we are in our walk with God.  Jesus said “hot” or “cold” but never lukewarm.  So, while we never harp on some dress code or silly legal formalities – how boring – we do stay fervent in serving God and major on partaking of God’s divine nature and His great promises - through the knowledge of Him.  To us, seeing the power of the Holy Spirit move in someone’s life is way more exciting than ….. really anything else!  And that’s why we exist – to help unbelievers meet Jesus Christ, and build strong Christians who can change their world!  So, whether you are searching for God for the first time, or whether you consider yourself Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Assembly of God, Pentecostal, or anything else, Houston Faith church is a place where you can experience the Holy Spirit and learn to walk with God in a dynamic, Biblical way.  So take a look around the web site, and then come on over for a service!
